Despite

Despite the

Beautiful

Autumnal

Sunshine,

The vibrant

Colours of

Those gorgeous

Trees,

The rapturous

Wonders of the

Sunlit skies,

The fanciful

Flights of those

Beautiful birds

And the nice,

Cool, fresh

Refreshing

Breeze....

There is

Something

In the air

That is

Terribly amiss,

After the sad

Demise of our

Beloved MP -

Sir David Amess.

The void is there.

He'll be sorely

Missed. May his

Gentle soul rest

In eternal peace.

AMEN.

(Dedicated to Sir David Amess who was brutally stabbed to death by a terrorist on 15th October, 2021)

I really Like this Picture

So simple, nice and ethereal :-)

It's an unusual portrayal of Goddess Durga by the versatile artist Susanta Paul.

See if you like this Comedy

I first saw it about 2 decades ago on TV.

I really liked it and recently I found it on YouTube.

Obviously, it was nice viewing it again. I give it a rating of 7/10.

So if you have a couple of hours to spare, you can see it all at one go, but if you have less time, you can see this play in bits and parts.

It has got many enjoyable moments given to us by some superb stage artistes like Umer Sharif, Moin Akhtar, Ibrahim Nafees, Akhtar Shirani, Aftab Alam and Rauf Lala.

All the other supporting actors and actresses also emoted very well.

Hope you enjoy :-)

Cheers
Aparna

Thinking

They must be
Thinking how to
Wish my father
On his birthday,
For on his birthday,
They lost their father,
It was his death day.

(My father's birthday is somebody's death anniversary in our extended family. Likewise, my mother's birthday is also another relative's death anniversary. Though it's sad but it's not surprising to me. Even the legendary singer Kishore Kumar died on his brother Ashok Kumar's 76th B'day.)
