Easter Parade (1948)

I saw this movie on Easter Sunday (5th April, 2026).

It was a lovely end to a beautiful day after a special Easter dinner with my family.

I think the men outshone the women in this film.

I loved the roles played by Fred Astaire and Peter Lawford.

Judy Garland and Ann Miller were good but I liked the men more.

Fred Astaire's dance steps were superb. His talent mesmerises...

Peter Lawford charmed me with his looks and charisma.

I was smiling all through the movie :) It had some very nice songs and some really funny scenes.

What I enjoyed the most was the choreography.

You must make time to see this romantic musical. It will not disappoint you.

It will be time well spent. Here's the BBC link where the film is being shown.

Happy Viewing :)

There he goes
Chatting with AI
For endless hours...
The wife is forgotten
So are the children...

Sunshine

A sunny day

A clear sky,

A blue sea.

What more

Do I need?

My prayers

He did heed.

If there's a

Saint Valentine,

He must be

Showering

His love

From above.

:-)
