People die,
Their words
And gestures
Remain with us,
As if what they said
And how they said -
Surrounds us like a
Perennial river that
Can never dry....
Zindagi Ek Nashe Ke Siwa Kuchh Nahin
Tumko Peena Na Aaye Toh Main Kya Karun
Sirf Ek Baar Nazron Se Nazrein Miley
Aur Kasam Toot Jaaye Toh Main Kya Karun
Sabko Maloom Hai Main Sharaabi Nahin
Phir Bhi Koi Pilaaye Toh Main Kya Karun
Remembering him with this beautiful ghazal.

I've grown up on his songs. He was my favourite Ghazal singer.
Here's another soulful song that makes me go down memory lane.
Aap Jinke Kareeb Hote Hain

The ghazal guru Pankaj Udhas succumbed to pancreatic cancer and passed away yesterday at the age of 72.
He leaves behind his wife, 2 daughters and his 2 elder brothers Nirmal Udhas and Manhar Udhas who are also singers.
After a successful musical career, may he now rest in eternal peace. Amen.
Makes me smile and cry....
It's so nostalgic, affectionate and so full of feeling....Katrina looks cute in this flick, decked like a pretty doll or an exquisite mannequin.
Ranbir also emotes well with his good looks and talent but Katrina steals the show.
The film doesn't seem long and dragging. It has slick editing with fast-paced narrative.
There are very few boring scenes, mostly funny scenes that make you laugh and smile.
The songs are nice. My favourite is Tera Hone Laga Hoon....
It's a sweet duet by Atif Aslam and Alisha Chinai, written by Ashish Pandit and composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
This 2009 movie has been directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and he has really entertained us with this refreshing and cheery romantic comedy.
